About Me

I am a graduate of the Colorado School of Healing Arts and a long time member of the AMTA.  I have been practicing massage therapy for over 25 years, specializing in a deep tissue technique called Neuromuscular Massage Therapy (NMT).  It is very effective for relieving pain from injuries, chronic conditions and sore muscles from exercise, and it is thoroughly relaxing.  I also provide Swedish massage for general relaxation, muscle testing and activation to restore blocked meridian energy, reflexology and other techniques.

I was born in Pennsylvania and also grew up in southern Maine.  I love animals, nature and the outdoors, and have been active in sports, skiing, hiking and other physical activities.  I moved to Aspen in 1975 and quickly became a believer in Aspen's active, healthy lifestyle.

Before my massage career, I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT- ambulance driver/attendant), where I gained experience helping people in pain.  Then I discovered massage therapy as a wonderful and effective way to provide people with all the healthy benefits of massage and relief from pain and stress.
